Obviously, as we've couponed we've collect quite a stock of different
frozen and non-perishable foods, as well as household items.
Now that we've compiled so much food there is
less of a pressing need to actually go to the stores.
Of course, we buy our fresh foods; milk, eggs, produce, etc...,
but the weekly cost is cut down to somewhere between $20 and $40.
Having stock in our home has made it possible to begin focusing
more on items relevant to our family that will be on SUPER sale for us.
Often free and even better -ending our balance with a credit
to be applied to anything we owe from other items that were not free!
I saw a woman on the Extreme Couponing program
who said it was really like a video game for her,
compiling a list with stacking coupons to save the most.
I couldn't agree more.
The following coupon trip was from a week ago.
Greg and Zeek joined me, and we doubled our check out
by each adult making their own transaction.
Here's how we did!
Total cost before coupons and discounts: $230.17
Total bill after coupons and discounts: - 108.31
A savings of: 121.80
That's a 53% savings!!!
over the past two months.
All we know is that we have A LOT of food
and it all cost somewhere around 50% or less of its original cost.
Couponing has also enabled us to put away money in savings
like never before, with no sacrificing or going without!
It's so fulfilling not to mention fun! :)

I've been trying to learn how this system works. Last week at one store I saved 36% after store discounts and coupons. A few of my items--they owed me money--what a felin!!! Super job on your latest trip.
